What Causes Stomach Pain And Headache After Back Injury?

My 6 y.o. daughter was bouncing on the couch and landed on her back. She came to me very distressed that she broke her back, but was certainly well enough to walk to me and climb into my high bed to lay down. I put a heating pad under her and she was feeling better. Now complaining of tummy pain ( a rock laying in my tummy ) and a headache. Seems like just muscle strain and a headache from the jolt of falling? No cuts or bruising or broken bones.

HI

Thanks for posting your query.

It seems just like a muscular strain that is causing her the tummy pain. But I need to know what is the severity of the pain ?

Does she complains of Vomiting sensation?

Is she refusing to eat food ?

Is there any tenderness on pressing her abdomen?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes then you may have to get her to a doctor and get her examined. If the answer is no for all the questions then you can just wait and watch. You can apply the same heating pad over her tummy too.

Hope this information was useful .
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

I find this answer helpful
