What Causes Stomach Pain And Hot Flashes Along With Stomach Bloating?

I keep having episodes when I get very hot and sweaty and get an upset stomach with stomach pain. I am almost 49. My husband thinks I am having hot flashes, but they seem to last too long to be a flash. I am also a diabetic. I was worried that it is sugar related. I was able to check my sugar during one of the episodes and it was 123.

Hello,

Since you are approaching menopause, these all are symptoms of menopause syndrome. So better to avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.

Start multivitamin tablets. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.

Avoid oily and spicy food, avoiding large meals, instead take frequent small meals. Start pantoprazole and Levosulpiride combination on empty stomach twice daily. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
