What Causes Stomach Pain And Indigestion After Taking Neoloridin Rapitab?

Hi doctor, I am on this drug Neoloridin Rapitab, which was prescribed by my dermatologist for allergy. I have been on this tablet for 3 days. I also read on your site that one of the side effects is Dyspepsia. And from yesterday I m facing issues like stomach pain and indigestion. So wanted to know if I should stop taking the medicine or there is a way to control the side effect. Awaiting your response.

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to:
1. Side effect of the medication (Neoloridin Rapitab) - Stoppage of the medication will provide relief from symptoms. Under such condition, you need to consult your treating Dermatologist for an alternative medication.

2. Inflammation or infection of Gastrointestinal tract - Under such condition, stoppage of Neoloridin Rapitab will not provide symptomatic relief and you will need to take a course of antibiotics against the causative organism.

Till then, maintain adequate hydration and electrolyte balance.
