General & Family Physician, Dr. Maninder's Response
Hi,
From the description provided by you, the symptoms seem to be due to an underlying infection. As these are of chronic onset, I would suggest you to start taking antibiotics after getting the culture done and also know the exact focus of infection. Any delay in initiating the treatment may result in complications. So, please go to your primary healthcare physician asap for all the investigations and treatment. For fever, you may take Tab Paracetamol and for stomach pain Tab Spasmonil.
As general measures to ease your stomach, you should: • Take several smaller meals instead of three big ones • Chew your food slowly and well • Stay away from foods that bother you (spicy and fried).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Maninder, General & Family Physician
