What Causes Stomach Pain & Fleshy Substance In The Faeces?

Hi I'm waiting to go to hospital for scans on the 23rd of november after visiting my gp last month after finding blood in my faeces and suffering stomach pains on my left side just below my rib cage. I've contacted him again after the pain has worsened and I'm now finding what looks like pinky flesh about 2 to 3mm in size in my faeces but he doesn't seem interested, should I be concerned by what I'm finding of wait until my hospital appointment?
