Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an abdominal ultrasound after seeing my physician for symptoms of stomach pain, irregularity, nausea, & acid reflux. He was concerned that maybe my gallbladder could be part of the problem. The color doppler showed two red spots on the gallbladder. What does this mean?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. These may be polyps or stones in gallbladder and this may be cause of your symptoms so in this case we recommend cholecystectomy as a permanent solution. However, there may be additional stomach isses such as gerd or gastritis so you should do gastroscopy before surgery if you decide to do it.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
