What Causes Stomach Pain, Nausea And Blood In Stool?
I have been having stomach pain and nasuea for months and have noticed lately it is getting worse-- especially after I eat. I also have gas and a lot of it obnoxiously loud and long. I have also had some rectal pain with some blood on the toilet paper at times. I dont know if I have fissures, hemorhoids or something else going on. Should I be worried ? Colon cancer is in my family and I am 50 yrs old now
The blood on the tissue may be due to hemorrhoids because blood on wiping is one of the main signs of this condition but you still need to be assessed.
At age 50, you should be screened for colonic cancer. This is the age that all persons are suppose to start screening. Colonoscopy would be the best option. With this procedure the doctor would able to take a look and take any samples if needed at the same time.
I hope this helps
