If im having stomache pains, cramps, nasua, vomiting and diaria off an on the past year, steady for the past two weeks im in remition from hepC for over ten years now. I was dignosed with Rheumatoid arthritis in the past year. In the past 6 months i have went from 118 lbs to 100 lbs i will not eat due to just being plain sick of vomiting although i will eat at the point of being exhausted. QUESTION; WHY WOULD THIS BE HAPPENING OR DO I NEED TO SEE A GASTROENTEROLOGIST?
hi If you are on anti rheumatoid drugs, it could be some side effect of it,another cause could be liver function disorder causing loss in appetite, vommiting after physical exertion thirdly, Giardiasis infection fourthly irrritable bowel syndrome(IBS) Yes, you may consult both a rheumatologist and a gastroenterologist .chronic diarrhea with hepatitis C history should be evaluated and treated to prevent further weight loss, Stool examinations,LFT and Endoscopies if necessary Best wishes
