What Causes Stomach Pain While Suffering From Gall Stones?

hi i suffer from gall stones, i occassionly have acid reflux. i now have abominal pain up by ribs for 10 days now. i have seen a dr who did blood tests...testing for cholecystitic and pancreatitis which came back fine. i have had symptoms similar to both conditions. what could be causing the sore stomach?

Hi.

Gastroesophageal acid reflux could be the cause for your symptoms as you did mention acid reflux. Request your doctor for a 24-acid pH monitoring to confirm/rule out the diagnosis. Also if you have symptoms like bitter taste in mouth from food or liquid regurgitation into mouth, dry cough, abdominal bloating, abdominal pain or cramps, sensation of lump at the back of the throat, etc; then GERD is the most likely cause.
