yes i am 5'5 weight 160ish lbs and 51/2 ys ago ad an abrasion on the outer laye o my stomach and now im aing thesme type of symptoms:stomach pain in the upper part of my actual belly and soft stools and dont want to eat but ea becaue i knw i need to what do you think it is?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Abrasion on the outer part of stomach 5 and 1/2 years ago can not cause pain now in upper part of abdomen and soft stools. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get the stool tested on three consecutive days. Ultrasonography and CT scan of abdomen can be most helpful. Tests of blood particularly for CBC, to rule out diabetes, liver and kidney functions. Clinical evaluation by a Doctor helps to get a clinical diagnosis, correlate with reports of investigations and give you proper prescription based medications to get a cure. If all the investigations are normal then this may be IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome. If the cause is found specifically during the course of investigations a proper treatment will cure you of all the problems.
