Hi I am a 66 year old female and except for high blood pressure I have always been healthy. For the last month I been having an upset stomach and pressure on my lower back just about everyday; tingling and warm sensations in my arms, shoulders and upper back and some pain right below neck and shoulders. My abdominal pain/discomfort is mostly in the lower area below the belly button. Also been getting a warm sensation in my jaw and both sides of face and a little ringing in my ears. I also been having ongoing problems with constipation and loose stools. I been taking Lisinopril for the HBP but been told to be off it for a few days now because of a possible side effect. I been having a dry cough and swallowing issues too. To make a long story short after having all kinds of lab tests, blood work, X-rays and CT of both chest and abdomen /Pelvis, EKG and cardiac stress test and everything turning out ok I still have no answers on what is wrong. I had a colonoscopy done 19 months ago. I did have 2 non cancerous polyps. I also been on Gabapentin (100 mg -1 capsule a.m. and 2- p.m) for 3 weeks for the tingling and have not really notice a big difference. I usually feel the tingling sensations when I been sitting or lying down. I was told I possibly have IBS and am being referred to a GI specialist. I am wondering if I have 2 separate problems or if there is 1 big underlying problem with all the symptoms I been having and if I should see another specialist besides the GI?
