General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have GERD (gastroesophageal reflux).

This can cause stomach upset, abnormal taste in the mouth. It is treated with medications such as nexium, prilosec, prevacid or protonix along with lifestyle changes.

The lifestyle changes are in the diet- small frequent meals instead of large meals, reduce citric foods, reduced spicy foods and frying, weight loss of any excess weight, waiting 2 hours after eating before laying down.

I hope this helps
