What Causes Strain In Lower Back While Lifting Heavy Dumbbells?
Hello Sir,
Today morning I was in the gym. I tried to lift two heavy dumbells (25 kg each) for shoulder shrugs. This I do regularly once in a week for shoulder excersize. But today when I lift, I felt a slight strain in the lower back. At that time it did not feel any back....but now when I am at home I am feeling back in my lower back. Also when I walk there is a slight discomfort in my right leg.
It looks like that there is back muscle sprain. Are you able to bend forward or can turn . Is this movement causes pain. If yes i would advice you to take rest, and muscle relaxant . Also you can apply local applicant like diclofenec gel, and warm water saline will help you. If these measures does not help than you need to see a orthopaedic surgeon .
