What Causes Strained Feeling In Pectoral Muscle And High BP?

I have had a really bad case of the flu in the last couple weeks (it dropped me like a stone for 10 days). Important note here. I train regularly 3-5 miles hike/walk and weight train (usually daily) and have done so for years. my resting pulse is 51. I turned 56 a couple days ago. Yesterday, I was training and thought I might have strained a pec muscle. About halfway back from my run I had to sit down and rest. I have been taking my BP with a monitor. for the last couple days it has been hovering around 190-201/78-90. I have had high blood pressure in the past. Other than a slight pulled muscle feeling in my left pec I don t feel bad. No nausea, no headache, no other pains.
