What Causes Stressful Dreams Accompanied By Insomnia And Loss Of Appetite?

Hello. I have not been able to sleep or eat due to nightmares. Food makes me sick. I have not eaten for 2 weeks and have only slept 6 hours this week. I went to the doctor and they told me that this was normal and gave me medicine. The medicine makes me sick also.
