What Causes Stringy Mucus And Blood In Urine?
i just got a call from my doctor wanting to re-do a unrine test i had a few weeks ago the day i had it it look like stringy mucus. the nurse said today it came back with blood in the urine. should i go on back now or wait until my regular visit jan 3rd

You should contact your doctor.
Blood in urine (hematuria)shouldn't be ignored.
It may be due to renal or urinary bladder calculus,UTI,tumour,trauma etc.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
You need routine hemogram,RBS,RFT,urine RE/ME,Ultrasound of abdomen.Further investigations can be done if needed.
Mucus in urine is normal finding.
Treatment depend upon findings.
