What Causes Strong Odor In Self And Burning In Penis Of Partner?

My boyfriend and I were just having sex and he told me that I have a strong odor and that having sex burns his penis. I don t really know what to make of it. I m pretty embarrassed right now. I am on birth control so he doesn t use a condom (yes we understand there is still risk). Please help me understand what this could be.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the strong odor in female partner with burning penis may be indicative of infectious cause usually sexually transmitted infection as:
Neisseria Gonorrhea
Chlamydia trachomatis
Trepenoma Pallidum ( Syphillis )
Human herpes virus

I would strongly recommend both of you to consult your doc and get necessary therapy to cure it. Till that time period, avoid sex, even protected is not advisable.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
