What Causes Strong Odor In Urine With Thick White Vaginal Discharge While On Nuvaring?

Hi, I started using the Nuvaring a few weeks ago. Ever since, my pee has a horrible strong odor. Not just like a uti or anything, but worse. I mean people definitely notice it if they use the bathroom after me. It s embarrassing and I m very concerned. At this moment I have no time to go to the doctor die to my work schedule. But the smell is so bad. I also have thick white discharge, but I feel as though that s a more common symptom. But the smell of my urine is just horrible. Pleaes help.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bacterial vaginosis and associated yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. If you were my patient then i would advise combination of clindamycin or metronidazole and clotrimazole as vaginal tab. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the genital area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Using intimate wash daily will be helpful to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH also.
