Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In the morning when I awake from sleep, I can feel the blood pumping up the back of my head while it rests on a pillow. Is this something to do with arteries being blocked with something or something else? Might it also be related to high blood pressure, but I generally don t have a serious problem with this?
After going through your query i understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that Pains of Headache different types and differ in duration and severity. Pulsating and throbbing pains in the morning can be because of Migrain or Tension and can be associated with nausea, vomiting light/sound sensitivity.
If these pains are chronic and do not subside with pain relieving meds then further evaluation will be required.
Hope to have been Helpful.
Kind Regards Dr. Navneet Bansal
