What Causes Strong Smelling White Milky Discharge From Vagina?
I had my first and only child in feb of 2014 and after my pregnancy (because this wasn t happening before I was pregnant) I would get like white milky like discharge, and it smells now and none of this was happening before I got pregnant. What could it be??
Pregnancy discharge- if it smells bad, if it is any other color other than clear or white, or if it causes pain, burning, or itching, there could be a possibility of vaginal infections.
Fungal or bacterial infections can occur in pregnancy since it is also an immuno-compromised state where infections occur easily.Vaginal smear can be done in case of persisting symptoms.
Drugs safe in pregnancy should only be used in case of infections. Hence I would suggest you to visit your doctor for antibiotics and avoid self medication.Topical drugs can e preferred whenever possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
