My urine has recently begun to have a very strong smell. There are no other changes. It appears to be clear and I have no physical symptoms. I tried eliminating things from my diet but it didn t change the outcome. I can only describe it as almost a super concentrated odor that reminds me almost of a porta-john. It seems very strange it I m wondering if I should be concerned. I am 54 and started menopause approximately 2 years ago.
Hi, I think you should go for a urine routine and microscopy and a culture. It can be due to some urine infections. Drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol. You may need some antibiotics.
