Hello,
You may have a stress reaction with your jaw such as clenching your teeth. This pressure can cause a radiating pain. Damage to teeth, muscles and TMJ can occur. Have you ever been diagnosed with bruxism or grinding your teeth? Do you grind your teeth at night? A night or occlusal guard can help reduce grinding habits. Consider scheduling a visit with your dentist for evaluation. Dental infections, abscessed teeth, periodontal infections, an uneven bite and wisdom teeth abnormalities can be considered with your description of symptoms, but do not necessarily worsen with excitement or stress. A thorough dental exam with X-rays is recommended.
Thank you for your inquiry.
