What Causes Sudden Back Pain On Left Side Between Ribs And Pelvis?
I have sudden back pain on my left side between my ribs and pelvis. Over the last few days I have suspected I may have a UTI as I am showing many of the symptoms of one that I have found during reasearch, though the only thing is my urine itself seems normal, no blood or foul smell. But I can only do a bit at a time and there is a feeling of pressure when I do try to . I don t really want to go to the doctors if I don t have to, but the back pain has got me worried, please help
there is a possibility that your symptoms arise from your upper urinary tract specially kidney or ureter. inflammation of kidney which is called pyelonephritis can be present as a loin pain. if we didnt treat early and properly for this condition it can harm your kidneys. other than that calculi in your kidney or ureter can present with loin pain. in both occasions gross apperance of your urine can be normal. usually abnormalities found when urine examined from microscope. so please consult your family physician. he will arrange necessary investigations such as FBC, ESR,UFR , urine culture and ultra sound scan of your abdomen.
