What Causes Sudden Black Outs And Pain In The Bones?

My 15 year old daughter informed me that for several months her vision goes completely black for about 5 seconds. Not from getting up too quick because it happens anytime anywhere even sitting. Today she said her body went limp and fell out of chair in school. Also complaining of bones hurting and constantly being tired no matter how much sleep she gets.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Does she have any palpitations or feeling of heart racing? This is most probably due to some cardiac problem like tachycardia. If she is having such episodes daily then it is advisable that she gets one holter monitoring done, which is portable ECG machine attached and any abnormality would be picked in it. Also get her hemoglobin, vit D and thyroid test done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode
