Hi I am a 55 year old black female very healthy I take no medication at all. On Sunday I noticed a small blister on my bottom lip and with in a half hour I noticed three more. I have never had this to happen to me before. Thank you
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain blisters on.lower lip can be due to causes like viral infection causing cold sores. It can also be due to allergic reaction to any food or skin cosmetics while can also be due to bacterial infection or bug bites..
I would suggest you to consult a Skin specialist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like Oral swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of viral infection you can be advised Oral and topical antiviral medication like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir etc..
For allergic reaction you can be advised antihistamine. Benadryl..
.
Hope this helps..
Regards..
