What Causes Sudden Breast Pain While Having Inverted Nipples?

I have a sudden breast pain that i. Cant xplain.it last about a seconds.it happened the other day and last 2 months ago it last a seconds also.i suspected something becausei observed my nipples get inverted /since 2008.im afraid to undergo ckup .im a nurse bu im scared.pls tell me what to do.

Hello,

More than the pain I’m worried about the nipple retraction which is one if the earliest sign of ductal involvement. Knowing your age and family history would have been of help, but now I would suggest you undergo screening mammogram and get things cleared without delay as it’s always better to get treated in the early stages than wait till complicated advanced stage.
