What Causes Sudden Bruise, Swelling And Pain In Upper Leg?

Hello Dr. I was sitting at a park bench yesterday and felt a sharp pain on my upper leg. Never experienced anything like it. It was painful bite. I was wearing dark jeans and didnt think an insect could crawl into my JEANS. i just noticed my front thigh is bruised and swollen.

If I were your treating doctor would have told to take some pain medications to get rid of the same and in the interim the bite can be cleaned with anti septic solutions and watch for any allergic symptoms(redness, itching etc)
and if so antihistamines/steroids may be use full
