General & Family Physician 's  Response
elderly people have poor nutrition and decreased assimilation of nutrition as their digestive tract is also weak. they need food supplements. good hydration, they have fragile skin, poor muscle mass and low platelets responsible for blood clotting all these increase risk of bleeding from blood vessels capillaries to cause bruises.

Therefore improve her nutrition multivitamin and mineras and blood clotting factors Vitamin K calcium also hydration
given her age just taking good care to avoid falls will help.
