What Causes Sudden Burning Sensation And Pain In Right Hand?
Hi I ve been having a stinging burning sensation on my right hand middle knuckle. The bone also hurts like a bruise. What can this be? There is no discoloration. I think that the bone issues might be arthritis. Can it be possible to have shingles on that spot?
* As per my clinical experience, the sudden burning issue and pain in right hand over knuckle may be in concern with ligament sprain or arthritis more likely.
* The shingles do not show up at particular spot mentioned and with this symptomatology. Guidelines at present:
- immerse hand in cold water for 5 minutes each 3 times a day
- tablet ibuprofen or diclofenac after meals with antacids
- gradual stretching with flexion and extension of finger joints
- avoid heavy weight lifting with right hand
- control of blood sugar
* Consult your doc as per the need or you can follow up online as well about the progress of the condition and further guidance accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
