why would i get a sudden HARD, rapid heart beat.( I could literally see my shirt move with each beat. After a few deep breaths it usually goes away. Today it lasted longer and chewed two baby aspirins before it stopped. Happens maybe once or twice a week. No reason for it. Today just sitting watching TV
Welcome at HCM I have gone through your and being your physcian i completely understand your health concerns. for how long u are suffering from it? any other associated problem? like diabetes or hyptertension? what is ur age ? sex? any medication u are using?Any chest pain and diaphoresis associated with it? any history of anxiety disorder? in my opinion u should visit ur doctor so that u can be examined. u need to get an ECG and ECHO done to rule out any ATRIAL FIBRILLATION and any clot in heart. have u got any problem with your thyroid? if i were ur attending physcian i will get ur TFTS done to rule out any abnormality. meanwhile stay calm and there is no need of using ASPIRIN get well soon Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask Regards Dr Saad Sultan
