Hi ..i am a female who has been having sciatic pain lately in my lower back area , one side mostly . I just had someone trying to help me by rubbing out the area( non professional) hoping it would alleviate some pain . As the area was rubbed it was radiating like crazy pain down my leg . Suddenly i got massive pain in my uterus area ..like contractions following the rubbing of the bad spot in my lower back . It was agonizing pain , i was in tears and i have a high pain tolerance . I took 2 aleve and crunched up in bed with a heating pad on my uterine area . It took about a 1/2 hour to subside and i am feeling better but sore from the contractions . I am definetely not pregnant . Can sciatic pain move like that to that area? Should i be concerned ? Thank You !
Dear; Sciatica pain will not radiate to ur uterus but the nerves supplying to ir uterus may get irritated when someone rubs the sciatica origin area as they arises from the same area...so the irritated nerve will result in contractiion along with pelvic pain. Thanks Hope ur queries answered.
