What Causes Sudden Diarrhea Along With Neck And Back Pain?
My friend has had sudden stomach upset, dirarhea, neck and back pain today that he describes as its making him feel like he was hit by a truck. He is a truck driver that is away all week, sleeps in the truck at truck stops, and eats a lot of fast food, but he was off this week, ate mostly home cooked food (mostly from canned goods). He had oral surgery two weeks ago (they removed two teeth). He hasn t finished the antibiotics. He was supposed to take them 3 times a day, but was only taking them twice a day. I am concerned that its not just a simple virus. Could this be some form of menengitis?
The symptoms seem to be related to a food poisoning.
Some advice that I can your friend is to avoid solid foods until vomiting ends and then eat light, bland foods.
Drinking liquids may help avoid vomiting. I suggest hime to avoid fried, greasy, spicy, or sweet foods. I also suggest taking anti-nausea or anti-diarrhea medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
