What Causes Sudden Dizziness And Vomiting?

Yesterday, I became suddenly light headed and felt like fainting as I was gardening. I immediately felt a fever come over me, making me run for the toilet to throw up. This is not unfamiliar to me due to my serverely painful menstral cramps, but the difference was in the timing. I knew this was different from past episodes because my period was almost over, and I already had minor cramps. I am very scared I have developed toxic shock syndrome from my tampons. (I did leave one in over night at one point)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

So far as symptoms narrated here,it is the heat stroke most likely as there was gardening work associated with possible dehydration state. I do not predict any of the toxic shock syndrome in your case.

Plenty of liquids and oral rehydration salt will cover the issue nicely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
