Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Unexplained dizziness. I got from a brief nap this afternoon and apparently fainted( I don t remember, my wife says I just keeled over backward and cracked my head). I am diabetic and take medication for high blood pressure, but I checked my blood sugar and pressure shortly before and shortly after the incident. Both times my reading seemed pretty normal. I don t believe I have an ear infection, but still feel dizzy a couple hours later.
Hello Sir, I am of the opinion that your unexplained dizziness might be related to Hypotension or Hypoglycemia. Middle ear infections causes vertigo meaning dizziness upon change of position. You dot have any such related ear pain or such histories. Many a times patient taking medications suffer opposite extreme of the disease as in your case might be Hypotension or hypoglycemia. Rest you can send me reports and thus I can advise well then. Thank you Dr. Ashish
