What Causes Sudden Elevation In Heart Rate?

Sometimes, while just sitting and watching a movie or something of that nature.. Nothing strenuous or anything.. My heart will just start racing as though I just did a huge cardio workout.. It doesn t always last long.. Maybe a couple of minutes or so.. Just curious to why that is??

The condition is called Anxiety Neurosis.Don't worry about that. Do simple investigations like ECG and BP check.If everything is normal then start treatment for ur anxiety.Better to take Tab Inderal 10 mg twice a day for few days then if u r getting better continue for few days and stop.Hope it may help u.
