What Causes Sudden Fainting And Headache?

Twice today have had a sudden feeling of impending blackout or loss of consciousness, with head pain, but it only lasted about 2 or 3 seconds, then the feeling of possibly going to pass out goes away. Both times, I was sitting down and basically inactive. It s not the same sensation as right before you faint, since there is actual head pain involved. I have checked my blood pressure, but it s normal. I take blood pressure medication and have had symptoms of high blood pressure side effects (headache, slight dizziness, nausea, etc.) the past few days but pressure is normal for the last 2 days. Prior to that, about 3 days ago, it was actually low, (111/58) which is really rare for me. I take Lisinapril, Metoprolol and Amlodopine Besylate.

Hi,

Greetings from Healthcare Magic!

It seems like early signs of stroke. But rule out stroke and transient ischemic attack. Brain CT and MRI need to be taken. Get examined by neurologist and follow accordingly.

Thanks & regards,
