What Causes Sudden Fainting And Tremors In The Hands?
hello doctor..i m worried about my relative s health. from last few days she cant handle herself, while talking or doing any work all of sudden she goes unconsious, her hands starts shevering. now its even worse she goes unconsious for 4-5 hours start pulling her hair hitting, her head. how to make her normal please give your feedback
The symptoms of the query are highly suggestive of a possible seizure-pseudoseizure syndrome with post-ictal phase. I think it is very very important for her to get admitted with a neurologist and get tested with a video EEG.
Thereafter, once the diagnoses is made, one can continue from there with what are known as antiepileptic medicines. This will need dose adjustment of course, but once the medicines start, a good response may be seen.
Other tests like MRI brain and CSF examination may be needed. I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope this helps you get her back to normal as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saumya Mittal, Diabetologist
