26 year old female, about 115 pounds, 5 4 , otherwise good health, was leaving to go home after a nice dinner last night and fainted after she stepped outside the door. She didn t hit her head, scraped her arm on a post as she fell to the sidewalk. She seemed to have a blank look on her face, almost like a trance, and we brought her in the house and laid her on the couch and she then vomited a small amount and still had a blank stare and didn t respond when we were talking to her at first then she looked at us. We helped her to the bathroom and she vomited a bit more. Was very pale then said she felt better and seemed to be herself again. She said she had been feeling bad for a little while after dinner and thought that her food was too rich and she ate too much. Felt like the food was up to her neck. Do you think this was something else, or just a reaction to rich food?
