Suddenly passing out falling (twice within 6 months);no warning.Latest trip to ER;blood work-up/electrolytes normal.Yes,I had eaten;also taken essential medications,including potassium ER 10mq.While I did whack my head again,this time it did not bleed.But I was unconscious for several hours. So why am I passing out? Refer to neurologist?

What Causes Sudden Fainting?
Hi, You are in the right direction. You need to consult Neurologist for detailed evaluation. It can be a transient ischemic attack or low blood pressure problem. Your serum random blood sugar estimation also should be done. CT scan can be as you have two such a fall down attacks. You can attach reports to comment further. Hope I have answered your query.
