What Causes Sudden Fainting?

My brother has passed out and did not come to until hours later.. this has happened 2 times that we know about .. last night he was found by the police in his car passed out .. he did go to the hospital there was no drugs or alcohol in his system .. he is not diabetic.. he would not disclose what the dr told him ... what could be causing this

If it occurs frequently and all the investigation is normal, then there is the possibility of conversion disorder. Does the recently gone into emotional bad event, tragedy or break down? Does he respond to strong stimuli like a heavy pinch on the middle of the chest or pinna? Or strong inhalation stimulus like a spirit? Does he a much-pampered child of the family? If it is so consulting psychiatrist. He needs behavioral therapy and counseling to cope up with emotional stress.
