General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. The above mentioned symptoms can be due to various problems. It is not always primarily a heart problem. Anaemia and hypothyroidism also can give such symptoms. So better to rule out anaemia by checking blood count and hypothyroidism by doing thyroid profile test first. If these are clear then you can take an ECG and stress test to rule out heart problems. A thorough physical examination by your General practitioner or physician is well appreciated also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
