What Causes Sudden Growth On The Right Side Of The Groin?

Yesterday evening I felt a very uncomfortable growth in my groin on my right side. Today I had to do a good it of driving & this thing was larger by double and was extremely uncomfortable. I am a female & my panties made it even more uncomfortable. I have had a small lump there foe years but nothing was ever done about it. This may have nothing to do with it but Tuesday, I played golf & something bit me twice on my neck (did not see it.). Two days later something like a stye popped up on my bottom right lit. It also grew very fast & has a peak on it like it has puss in it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The groin swelling you are referring to might be a hernia, either inguinal or femoral. Got to check with a surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Syed Tehmid, General & Family Physician
