What Causes Sudden Headache Despite Taking Bortezomib For Multiple Myeloma?
My husband has been taking migraine prevention meds for 15 or more years and has not had a migraine in as long. He is currently undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma. He is on weekly bortezimib (sp?) injections and revlimid capsules (15 mg daily, 2 wks on, 1 wk off). At around noon today he had a sudden onset headache that has not subsided. He took OTC migraine med about 2 hours ago. His BP is currently 154/78, which is high for him. Does this warrant an ER visit?

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be migraine and differentia diagnosis need to be taken into consideration in my opinion better to get done the CT of brain and such headache need to be diagnosed for systemic disease beside the migraine hope this information helps.
