What Causes Sudden Hearing Loss?

I experienced sudden hearing loss exactly 4 weeks ago... Took steroid pills for 2 weeks and then had the shots once a week for 3 weeks ending at week 3. My improvement seems to have plateaud... is there any chance I will still see improvement? My hearing feels like it improved @25% between weeks 1 and 3...

conduction and nerve deafness should be tested. consult ent specialist hearing aid may help. if cause's known then treatment will be successful. problem may be perforated tympanic membrane for which tympanoplasty is requered.for too much wax dewax drop may be applied.
