What Causes Sudden Hearing Loss?

I recently had a episode back in August where I woke up one morning and all of a sudden I developed a studded & I also lost most of my hearing in my left ear!!!!! The Dr at that time believed that I had a small stroke!!!!! Shortly after that I began smoking marijuana to try and help with the studded & it seems to help me!!!! I was wondering if you have heard anything about this?????

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a mini stroke or TIA. Consult a neurologist and get an MRI scan done for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
