What Causes Sudden Left-sided Pain In The Back In A Elderly Man?
I am 68 year old man sudden pain left side back slightly above my belt line. Deep in muscle , don t recall any activity that may have caused. More painful when I pick up my left leg or get up from a chair. General health good, mildly overweight. Very painful. Your suggestions please.
I think this sudden back pain is possibly related to kidney stones. I think you should do a urine analysis and an ultrasound to check for kidney stones.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
