What Causes Sudden Loss Of Hearing In Left Ear And Clogged Feeling?
So basically i went to sleep one day with everything fine but when i woke up i couldnt hear from my left hear (at least it felt like i couldn t) the whole inside of the left ear felt blocked with some sort of clogging i know it isn t wax, though. It may be water so i went out to get swimmer s medicine where there is an ear drying solution. It isn t so effective as my ear still feels weird. I can hear out of my hear and it pops so i can hear but still where my ear and cheek meet that area feels numb and just not like a normal ear...im so worried that i have partially lost hearing or anything...even though there is no pain.
I would suggest to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically and with otoscope . Doctor may also order CT scan , hearing test and prong test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( gentamicine ) at least for 10 days along with decongestants and mucolytics agent . For now keep your ear dry and take steam twice a day .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
