Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Husband was out changing oil and came in and said he loss his memory. He keeps asking the same questions over and over. He doesn t remember putting the oil in. This happened about two years ago. Test were ran but nothing really showed up. He had missed his BP pill was the only thing we could hink of. He took all his medicine this morning.
Although missing the BP pills can affect the mental state since its a scheduled drug, loss of memory could also be due to other factors.
Without the age details and proper medical history, it is difficult to ascertain the exact cause of loss of memory. Make sure he takes his BP pills regularly as prescribed by the physician.
If the loss of memory still persists, you may have to refer to a psychiatrist/psychologist to know the exact reason.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
