What Causes Sudden Nausea And Diarrhea?

I am on a business trip. And last night when I checked into my hotel at 10;00 pm in Seattle I felt somewhat nautious (sp?) and slept til 7 am.I woke up with an upset stomach and bowels.I have had diarreah all day. I m wondering if I got food poisoning or the flu and what I can do to help myself and make my flight home tomorrow afternoon? thx

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problem you are having is gastrointestinal (GI) upset, post probably due to food poisoning.
Kindly do the following to overcome it:
1. Take Panoprazole with Domperidone combination on empty stomach once a day to overcome nausea and acidity.
2. Take a course of antibiotics containing Ciprofloxacin with Tinidazole.
3. Drink good quantity of fluids and keep yourself well hydrated.
