What Causes Sudden Nausea And Hot Flushes Along With Loss Of Consciousness?

On monday morning, I was enjoying a game of cards when suddenly felt nausea, and got very hot. the next thing I knew my boyfriend had me in his arms, I had apparently lost consciousness. he said my eyes were wide open, pupils dialated...he was about to call 911 when I suddenly grabbed his arm and looked at him. I have no recollection. After, I was cold, and shaky for hours...I still feel in a fog..I have had recent root canal problems (tooth will most likely have to come out-repeat infections), and have been taking anti-diarrhea OTC meds as I have had issues since mid-November (I was blaming it on the tooth infections)...I take one daily just to function and be able to go to work...and had taken my last antibiotic the morning it happened...could it have been a drug interaction or something else?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden nausea and hot flushes along with loss of consciousness . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like vasovagal syncope , acute kidney failure , stroke or other heart problem . The symptoms can also occur due to hormonal imbalance or low blood sugar and iron level . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist again without any delay doctor may order test other then ECG like , complete blood profile , troponin t test along with angiography . Doctor may prescribe aspirin sedative diuretic and isosorbide nitrate . Doctor may also recommend open heart surgery or may refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem . For now continue taking medicine as per prescription .
